One week. Four institutions. One shared commitment: preventing suicide and protecting young lives. 🇪🇹

The Ethiopian Pediatrics Society (EPS) brought together multidisciplinary teams from Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, University of Gondar, Jimma University, and Haramaya University for an ASQ Intervention, BSSA, Safety Plan, and Facilitation Training in Addis Ababa from August 10-14/2026 at Dreamliner Hotelin collaboration with the AAP and Nationwide Children’ USA. .

The training strengthened the skills of pediatricians, psychiatrists, research assistants, and data collectors to support early identification, safety planning, and suicide prevention among children and adolescents.

Together, we are turning knowledge into action—and taking meaningful steps toward a safer future for every child and adolescent in Ethiopia. 💙
